Preliminary Evaluation Tips

Remember to...
  • evaluate and reflect upon the creative process and your experience of it.
  • evaluate your work digitally.
Examples of suitable formats for the evaluation are:
A podcast
DVD extras
A blog
A powerpoint
A website  
...or a combination of two or more of the above.

Examples of how you can present your preliminary task evaluation:
 Upload your completed video to your blog, along with your evaluation.

Preliminary Exercise Brief

You may find this useful when writing your evaluation:

Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.
